We gathered Friday to unveil Project Wildcat, a new 27 acre development that will become The Summit Industrial Park. Located on Highway 70 near I-40 Exit 301, the park will feature flexible industrial buildings ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 square feet. This project represents a major vote of confidence in Monterey and a big step forward for job creation, economic growth, and long term investment in Putnam County. With strong partnerships already in place, The Summit Industrial Park opens new doors for businesses and helps create opportunities for residents to work closer to home.![]()

Today we celebrated the grand reveal of Baxter’s new welcome signs! This project was completed for Tennessee Downtowns, an affiliate program of Tennessee Main Street. The new signage reflects Baxter’s unique identity and creates a warm, welcoming gateway for residents, visitors, and businesses. This project marks an exciting step forward for the Baxter community and its continued downtown revitalization efforts. Huge congratulations to everyone who worked hard to bring Baxter’s new welcome signs to life! 🎉![]()
